Used ADK Packworks with Hubby

If you are one my constant readers, you would have known by now about the ADK Packworks review I recently published. The packworks still works great, helps us not to get more plastic bags whenever we buy small portions of our groceries.

This day ADK Packworks did it again. We went to a Farmer’s Market one Saturday morning to buy fresh produce. I told the vendor that I don’t need the plastic bag and just put the produce in the packworks, I don’t need a plastic for the produce, and they were happy too. That would save them money at the same time; it will help us not to get plastic bags.

Fresh produce at the Farmer's Market

We didn’t take long at the place, since there were only four vendors that day. They don’t have a lot of produce for us, so we wrapped up that day and headed back home.

I took another a photo of hubby carrying the Packworks. Instead of carrying more plastic bags, we helped save the environment by using reusable bags for our groceries. Can’t wait to use the bag again.

  1. That bag actually looks big enough to hold a lot of things which most of them can not. Will look into this for my Mom.

  8. Here in Ireland, you need to bring your own bags in the grocery or else you'll end up with two options. First, buy the plastic bag which is a cost of one bell pepper. Or second, carry everything you bought with your hands. Sometime, you can also get some box in the store where you will put everything. But still it's not comfortable doing that because there's no handle to make it easy. I had plenty of recycle bags here at home but I haven't got just like the one you have.

  12. Since bawal na ang plastic in our city, this ADK bag is a good addition sa misis ko. She is fond of buying whatever gets into her hands at the market.

  13. We're starting not to use plastic nowadays too. Mom bought a net bag which will she or any members of the fam when going to the market.

It saves money and at the same time, we save Earth! :)
